Hi, I’m Judith O’Donnell, B.Sc. Hons.

I hold a B.Sc. in Counselling & Psychotherapy (First Class Hons) and I am a fully accredited psychotherapist registered with the Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am fully committed and engaged in ongoing professional development and have a certificate in Couples Counselling, Mindfulness, Psychology and Trauma and have completed ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills) and Child First training.

I am a married mother of two young adults and following many years working in the world of finance, I commenced studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy. In 2016, I began work as a psychotherapist on a voluntary basis in St, Catherine’s Counselling Services in Tallaght and since 2019 I have been working in a private practice in the Maynooth area.

My Approach

I work as an integrative therapist, working with humanistic, CBT and psychodynamic therapies, drawing on the approach that best suits my client’s needs. I work with a wide range of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, painful childhood experiences, loss, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and life changes.

If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment please do not hesitate to contact me via phone, email or text.
